A shocking robbery incident took place in Ambassa where a local businessman was looted of ₹6 lakh by a group of miscreants. The victim, identified as Gour Chandra Paul (53), was returning home at night after closing his shop when the attack occurred.
According to reports, three assailants arrived on a motorcycle, pushed him to the ground, and sprayed a chemical substance on him—likely to temporarily blind or disorient him. Taking advantage of the situation, they fled with a bag containing the cash.
The incident happened in a relatively isolated area near his residence, allowing the attackers to escape without immediate resistance. Police have taken note of the case and are expected to investigate the matter further.
