
A 40 KWP grid-connected rooftop solar power plant was officially inaugurated at Raj Bhavan, marking a significant step towards promoting sustainable and green energy initiatives in the state.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the esteemed presence of the Hon’ble Governor of Tripura, Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, who emphasized the importance of adopting renewable energy solutions to combat climate change and reduce dependency on conventional power sources.
Alongside the Governor, the event was attended by his Secretary and other senior officials and dignitaries associated with the energy and environment departments. The newly installed solar plant is expected to significantly contribute to the energy requirements of Raj Bhavan while promoting the use of clean energy in government establishments.
This initiative reflects the state government’s commitment to encouraging renewable energy adoption and reducing carbon emissions, in alignment with national goals under India’s sustainable development agenda.
