Tomtom Driver Caught with Narcotics in Udaipur

Udaipur Correspondent // A man named Billal Miah, a tomtom (auto-rickshaw) driver, has been arrested by the police of Radhakishorepur Police Station in Udaipur on charges of drug possession and peddling.

Confirming the incident, Udaipur Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Nirman Das informed reporters that a few days ago, local residents had caught Billal Miah with narcotic substances and handed him over to the police. Although he was later released, police detained him again following fresh suspicion.

According to the SDPO, Billal was driving a tomtom bearing registration number TR 03-D 3108 and had just arrived at Ramesh Chowmuhani in Udaipur when the police intercepted the vehicle. Upon inspection, narcotic substances were recovered from the tomtom.

Billal Miah is currently in police custody at Radhakishorepur Police Station. A case has been registered against him, and further investigation is underway, said the SDPO.
