Agartala: The capital city seems to be spiraling into chaos after dark, as the streets of Agartala are increasingly turning into open bars. Late-night scenes of people drinking inside parked vehicles and later driving recklessly through the city have become alarmingly common.
In yet another incident highlighting the deteriorating condition, chaos erupted near the Skylark Club area on Monday night. A youth, identified as Iqbal Miah, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, fell asleep in the middle of the road while still inside his vehicle.
The bizarre sight caught the attention of passersby, who immediately informed the police. Law enforcement officers soon arrived at the scene and took the intoxicated man into custody.
Citizens are raising concerns over the growing menace of public intoxication and the lack of stringent enforcement during nighttime hours. Many are urging the authorities to take immediate action before these nightly hazards lead to more serious consequences.
