In a high-stakes joint operation carried out early Thursday morning, the police of Yatrapur Police Station, along with the BSF personnel from the Shalpukur BOP, seized a massive cache of illegal narcotics in the Bashpukur area under Yatrapur jurisdiction.

Around 14,000 Yaba tablets were recovered during the raid, with an estimated market value exceeding ₹1 crore. The operation was led by Yatrapur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Sitikanta Barman in coordination with officials from the concerned BSF camp.
