According to a report published by Dainik Sambad, fresh concerns have emerged over the renewed movement of armed militant groups in the hill regions of Tripura. The situation has reportedly created fear among residents, particularly in and around Kanchanpur subdivision.
After a period of relative calm, locals claim that extremist elements have once again become active in remote areas. There are allegations that contractors and laborers working on development projects are being threatened and pressured for money. As a result, several ongoing government works have reportedly slowed down or come to a halt.
Security forces are said to be on alert, and authorities have assured that the situation is being closely monitored. However, the renewed activity has unsettled villagers, who fear instability may return to the region if strict measures are not taken promptly.
