Jirania: Sensation spread across the Jirania Bazar area after a brutal murder shook the locality. A 73-year-old woman, identified as Sandhya Rani Saha, was found murdered inside her own home.
According to police sources, the accused, a woman named Purnima Kurmi Goswami (35), allegedly killed the elderly woman and fled with her gold ornaments. The police have arrested the accused and launched a detailed investigation into the case.
