In a major crackdown on illegal drug activities, the East Agartala Police on Monday arrested four individuals with a significant quantity of brown sugar. During the operation, authorities also seized mobile phones, a large amount of cash, a motorcycle, and a scooter from the accused.
The police have registered a case against the four under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. They are set to be produced before the court with a plea for police remand.
