Kennedy Space Center, Florida:
In a landmark moment for India’s space journey, the Falcon 9 rocket slated to carry Indian astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla into space has been successfully rolled out to Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. The mission — Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4) — will mark a historic first as Group Captain Shukla becomes the first person holding an Indian passport to travel to the International Space Station (ISS).
This mission is being hailed as a major milestone not only for international collaboration in space exploration but also for India’s ambitions under the Gaganyaan human spaceflight program. Shukla’s participation in the mission reflects India’s growing role in global space initiatives and signals a proud step forward for ISRO and Indian space science.
