Man Drowns While Fishing in Gomati River

A tragic incident unfolded in the Gomati River as a 52-year-old man drowned while fishing with a hook and line. The deceased has been identified as Brajlal Das, a resident of Fottamati area in Udaipur.

According to sources, Brajlal, who was a farmer by profession, went to the river for fishing but accidentally slipped into the water and drowned. Rescue operations were launched soon after, but his body was recovered later.

The incident has cast a shadow of grief over the local community.
