Based on a secret tip-off, a joint operation was conducted by the Additional Superintendent of Police of North Tripura and the Sub-Divisional Police Officer of Panisagar. During the operation, a man was apprehended from Monachhara under Khedachhara Police Station with a pistol and live ammunition. The arrested individual has been identified as Lalit Mohan Reang (65). The incident has sparked considerable sensation in the area.
