A cloud of mystery hangs over the sudden and suspicious death of a young man late on the night of May 5 in Tripura’s Sepahijala district. The deceased, identified as Arif Hossain, popularly known as Rana, was a resident of Kuthirmura village in Kamalnagar, under Sonamura Police Station.
According to initial reports, Arif’s lifeless body was discovered in an isolated spot near the Nengta Dargah area of Melaghar, far from the main road. The body was first spotted by locals and later recovered by the fire service personnel, who had to travel deep into the interior to reach the location.
