Public Rejoices as BJP Leader’s Poultry Farm Ordered to Shut Down

Residents of Borojola village under Bishramganj police station erupted in celebration after authorities ordered the closure of a poultry farm owned by BJP leader Ratan Debnath. The protest took place in the Chesharimai area, where angry villagers blocked the National Highway, complaining of unbearable stench and constant nuisance caused by flies from the farm.

The blockade created significant disruption, with even the District Magistrate getting stuck at the protest site. After assessing the situation, the DM assured the protesters that the poultry farm would be shut down by the end of the day.

Following this assurance, the villagers lifted the blockade, celebrating the resolution of their long-standing grievance.
