Suspicious Role of Wife in Husband’s Death — Body Recovered from Bangeshwar River

Date:

On June 24, an unidentified mutilated body was recovered from the Bangeshwar River in Pratapgarh, Agartala. Later, the body was identified as that of Haradhan Debnath, a resident of Masterpara in Agartala.

The incident has sparked widespread suspicion among locals, who believe that Haradhan may have been murdered and his body dumped in the river. According to residents, Haradhan’s wife was allegedly involved in an extramarital affair with a street vendor who sells phuchka (pani puri). Frequent quarrels between the couple were reportedly common, with Haradhan often being subjected to physical and emotional abuse at the hands of his wife.

Locals claim that Haradhan’s murder may be the outcome of his wife’s illicit relationship, and they suspect foul play. They are now demanding a thorough and impartial investigation into the matter to uncover the truth behind the mysterious death.
