TBSE Results May Be Delayed Due to ADC Poll Duties

Date:

The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has indicated a possible delay in announcing the 2026 Madhyamik and Higher Secondary exam results, citing the upcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council elections 2026 as the main reason.

According to the board president, although the evaluation process is scheduled to begin in early April, a large number of teachers assigned for checking answer scripts will be engaged in election duties. This is expected to slow down the assessment process and push back the result declaration timeline.

While TBSE had initially aimed to publish results around the same time as last year (end of April), officials now suggest that the results may be delayed by at least a week or more, with efforts underway to release them as soon as possible after the evaluation is completed.
