Tripura to Celebrate Formal Declaration as a Fully Literate State on June 23

Date:

Agartala, June 21, 2025:

The Government of Tripura is all set to host a grand ceremonial event on June 23, 2025, marking a historic milestone—the formal declaration of Tripura as a Fully Literate State. The announcement will be made under the “ULLAS – Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakram” at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan Hall No.1, Agartala, beginning at 11:30 AM.

The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tripura will formally proclaim the state’s achievement during the event, celebrating the culmination of years of dedicated efforts in the field of education and literacy.

To ensure public participation and to commemorate this momentous occasion, the Directorate of Secondary Education (State Literacy Mission Authority) has requested the Information and Cultural Affairs Department to facilitate live streaming of the event across the state. The event will be telecast through large LED screens installed at various prominent locations, allowing citizens—especially learners, volunteers, and literacy campaign contributors—to witness and be part of this milestone celebration.

The Directorate has assured that the necessary live stream link and technical support will be provided to ensure the smooth telecast of the event.
