Kanchanpur: The Special POCSO Court of North Tripura has sentenced two men to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for the rape of a minor. The judgment was delivered by Judge Anshuman Debbarma.
The convicted individuals have been identified as Nirmal Shuklabaidya and Mashendra Shuklabaidya, both residents of Netaji Colony under Kanchanpur Police Station.
The court, after examining the evidence and testimonies, found them guilty under relevant sections of the POCSO Act and awarded the punishment.
