Minneapolis, USA – Disturbing details have emerged about Wednesday’s deadly school shooting in Minneapolis, where a 23-year-old gunman opened fire inside a Catholic school, killing two children and injuring 17 others.
The attacker, identified as Robin Westman, a transgender individual formerly known as Robert until 2020, entered the school armed with three firearms – a rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol. Authorities later found Westman’s body in a nearby parking lot, with investigators suspecting suicide.
What has drawn widespread attention is the hate-filled graffiti scrawled across Westman’s weapons and ammunition magazines. Among the messages were threats such as “Kill Donald Trump”, “Assassinate Trump Now”, “Drop Nuclear Bomb on India”, and “Burn Israel to the Ground”.
Conservative Republican activist Laura Loomer shared images of the weapons on social media, claiming the writings reflect Westman’s radicalization by anti-India and antisemitic propaganda. While the authenticity of the images is still being verified, Loomer insisted the shooter’s intent was clear.
The Department of Homeland Security confirmed that Westman had publicly identified as transgender. A now-deleted YouTube channel under the name “Robin W” reportedly featured videos showcasing guns, ammunition, and magazines, further highlighting the suspect’s obsession with firearms.
The tragedy has left the Minneapolis community shaken. Most of the injured victims are children between 6 and 15 years old. Parents gathered in panic outside the school as law enforcement sealed off the area.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stated that investigators are closely examining the shooter’s online activity and the extremist messages written on the firearms to determine whether outside influences fueled the attack.
The incident has once again reignited debates in the United States over gun control, online radicalization, and the growing intersection of hate speech with acts of mass violence.
