Air India Crash in Ahmedabad: All Passengers Dead, One Survivor Identified as Vishwas Kumar Ramesh

Ahmedabad, June 12 — A deadly tragedy struck Ahmedabad this afternoon as an Air India Boeing 787 passenger aircraft crashed in the Meghaninagar area, resulting in the death of all on board — except one. In what rescue officials are calling a miraculous escape, 40-year-old Vishwas Kumar Ramesh has been found alive amid the charred wreckage.

Ramesh, the sole survivor of the devastating crash, was rushed to Asarwa Civil Hospital, where he is currently undergoing critical treatment. Hospital authorities confirm that while he has sustained serious injuries, he is conscious and under close medical observation.

The crash led to massive fires and thick plumes of smoke that could be seen from several kilometers away. Emergency responders faced extreme challenges in navigating the debris and flames to carry out rescue operations.

Officials have confirmed that all other passengers and crew members aboard the aircraft perished in the crash. The exact cause of the incident is still under investigation.
