Three E-Rickshaw Thieves Nabbed; Stolen Vehicles and Unregistered Bike Recovered

In a breakthrough operation, police arrested three individuals involved in multiple e-rickshaw thefts. The case began with the theft of an e-rickshaw from Battala Bazaar on June 13, which was reported to the Battala Police Station.

Following a joint investigation by Battala and West Police Stations and after reviewing CCTV footage, the primary suspect, Shibu Saha of Aralia, was identified and later apprehended from the Jirania area.

Upon interrogation, Shibu revealed details of another theft, leading to the arrest of two more individuals — Raju Das from Purba Pratapgarh and Dulal Das from Vidyasagar Palli. Police also recovered an unregistered motorcycle from their possession.

The arrests mark a significant success in the crackdown on vehicle theft in the region.
