A tragic road accident in Andhra Pradesh turned fatal after a passenger bus caught fire following a collision with a lorry early Thursday morning.
According to police sources, the incident occurred around dawn when the speeding bus rammed into a truck. The impact triggered a massive fire, which spread rapidly through the vehicle, trapping several passengers inside.
At least 13 people are feared dead, many of them burned alive, while over 20 others sustained injuries. The injured were immediately rescued and rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Firefighters and local authorities reached the spot quickly and carried out rescue operations, though the intensity of the blaze made it difficult to save those trapped inside.
